This Mother’s Day, The Good Plot’s Founder Mandy Lieu has shared a diary on the gifts of motherhood during lockdown and the pandemic.
In the blog, Mandy says that Mother’s Day is a time of gifts. This year, we have the gift of time together with our children without the pressure of home schooling. The gift of time to ourself during the week. The gift of telling our family that one day, this will all be over.
At The Good Plot, we hope mothers across the country will be rewarded for the tough job they have been doing over the lockdown period. The Good Plot at Home is here to support you with gifts of our own.
Our luxury hamper has been extremely popular during lockdown, with donations going to our local charity partner, West London Action for Children. For Mother’s Day, we’ll be extending our offer. For every hamper we sell this week, whether it’s a gift from grateful kids to a hard pressed mum, or a lockdown indulgence, we’ll donate £20 to local families in need through West London Action for Children. It’s full of luxurious, sustainably sourced treats fit to celebrate any special mum. We can cater for all dietary requirements including vegan and gluten free.
Every hamper will provide £20 to support the charity’s Family Support Fund, which provides food, food vouchers and other necessities for vulnerable families at this challenging time. At The Good Plot, we want to support your family and our local community, as well as supporting the environment through our carefully sourced produce. This Mother’s Day, though, we’re supporting mums most of all.
